About C. Carlisle

Hi everyone! I’m C. Carlisle, your resident introverted, neurodivergent, book-obsessed, fantasy-loving nerd. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon (it’s beautiful, peaceful, and rainy here!). 

I’m obsessed with storms (of any variety), the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher from Starbucks, and have a fascination with the macabre. 

I’ve loved fantasy books since I was a child. From Harry Potter to The Infernal Devices to Fallen Academy and more, escaping into different worlds has always brought me such joy. So much so that a large portion of my time growing up was spent in daydreams where I could play out my own turn of events and create my own story. 

I’ve always loved writing and recently I’ve begun to think - why not put my daydreams into writing? Honestly, I don’t know why it took me this long to seriously consider it. I’ve only just begun, but I’m already kicking myself for not starting earlier! I’m having so much fun with it and I feel like I’m finally doing something that I’m truly passionate about. 

Most recently I’ve been fascinated with the why choose / reverse harem genre. I love exploring the dynamics and intricacies within that type of group relationship and many times it feels like a very special version of found family to me.

I can’t wait to keep developing my story and eventually share it with the world.
