Knowing Your Characters

I’m going to keep this one short because I’ve got writing to get back to!

However, I’ve got to say that it’s so nice to finally get your characters to open up a little bit. I’ve been focusing on my FMC lately and through drafting these chapters I’m learning more and more about her. When I go to daydream, the ideas come so much easier to my mind now because I’ve gained insight into how she would react, what she would think or do or say, how she relates to those around her. It’s been a fascinating process and I can’t wait to not only learn even more about her, but to have this same epiphany with the MMCs and other characters.
